I see my last blog here was in December! Time just flies. Since then I have been spending a lot of time in Pismo Beach and the surrounding area. I am in love with the area. All the things I love to do can be done there – hike, bike, kayak, surf, stand up paddle surf, drink wine, watch the sunset, watch the sunrise, walk your dog on the beaches and meet a whole lot of very nice people. Only 3 hours to Los Angeles and 4 to San Francisco makes it very centrally located. I can visit my kids in LA and my favorite restaurants in SF. I’m looking for just the right place to rent and plan to be up there by the summer. Tammy and I visited mid February and we kayaked out at Port San Luis. Dolphins were surrounding us, sea otters were cracking mussels while laying on their backs, sea lions were resting on the pier and the sea birds were diving for fish. The water was calm and clear. One of the many splendors of that magical area.
